What To Wear to a BodyPump Class

Our Les Mills BodyPump classes will work up a sweat, so wear something that allows the skin to breathe, and avoid anything overly loose fitting that might whip about and get in the way.

BODYPUMP FOR BEGINNERS

New to BodyPump? No problem. BodyPump is a barbell workout designed by Les Mills to get you lean, toned and fit - fast! Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BodyPump gives you a total body workout.

BodyPump is the ultimate calorie-burning resistance training workout that generates a long-term calorie-burning effect!

BodyPump Exercises

Starting with a full-body warm-up, you will work out to the beat of motivating tracks, each track focusing on a different muscle group. 

The great thing about BodyPump is that no 2 classes are the exact same - our instructors love to put their own spin on it and switch up the exercises. 

For legs and back expect a good dose of squats, deadlifts, clean and presses, lunges and bicep curls. This is the strongest muscle group, so we expect to see you increase your weight here. 

This will be followed by a round of push ups, chest presses, overhead presses and crunches to get your arms and shoulders burning.
