AQUA FITNESS NEAR ME

Our Aqua Aerobics class in Bracknell is loved by all ages and abilities. A high-energy, low-intensity workout that follows a sequence of aerobic moves in our brand new heated indoor swimming pool. The perfect way to improve your fitness without the high intensity.

Sometimes known as AquaFit, Aqua Fitness, Water Aerobics or Aquacise, our water-based Bracknell class is a type of resistance training that is designed to tone, improve stamina and burn fat. Enjoy sequences of aqua Zumba, aqua yoga and aqua jogging with added resistance from the water.

AQUA AEROBICS FOR SENIORS

If you’re one of our senior Bracknell members who wants to get your body moving, then this fun aqua fit class will be a great option for you! Whilst getting involved in our Aqua Aerobics exercises, the water’s buoyancy supports your body weight, so is very gentle on your joints. Join us at Village Gym Bracknell to improve your cardiovascular fitness, balance and range of motion!

WATER AEROBICS FOR ARTHRITIS

 As our Aqua Aerobics class is designed to be very gentle on the joints, it is also a great option for our Bracknell members that suffer with arthritis and other joint problems. Regular, low-impact exercise is an important part of your arthritis treatment plan, and with water unloading up to 90% of your body weight, it is the ideal exercise.

It is recommended, first, to speak to your doctor to make sure water aerobics is the best choice for you, then…

-Always stay hydrated (you may not notice how much you’re sweating!)

-Listen to your body, and stop if anything hurts

AQUA AEROBICS RESISTANCE TRAINING

It is said water is around 800 times denser than air, and provides 12 times more resistance.

By combining the natural resistance of water and low-intensity exercises, you can increase your strength, improve your cardiovascular system and breathing. This is a great way to see positive change, without leaving yourself feeling exhausted.

WHAT TO BRING TO OUR AQUA FIT CLASS

Our Bracknell Aqua Fit classes are all about movement. Bring your most comfortable swimwear that allows you to stretch, shake and spin effortlessly in the water, without risking your modesty.

You have the option to bring a swim cap to keep your hair out of your face and goggles to prevent splash irritating your eyes. Don’t forget your towel, as we have showers if you would like a quick rinse afterwards, and make sure to bring a bottle of water and a light snack to refuel after your aqua aerobics class.
