Our tailored Gym Inductions ensure each and every member gets the most from their Village Gym membership.
Our expert fitness instructors will ensure you are equipped with the skills and knowledge you need to believe you can achieve your fitness goals.
Kick off your fitness journey at Village with a Gym Induction with one of our expert trainers. During the induction, your trainer will take you through a Body Analysis which will cover all aspects of your current health and fitness including body fat, blood pressure, heart rate and postural analysis. The results of this session, plus your fitness goal will allow your trainer to create a bespoke fitness programme tailored to your individual needs.
Using the state-of-the-art equipment in our gym, plus the very latest training techniques, the second part of your induction will get you moving and put the theory you’ve learned into practice. With a real focus on functional exercises that engage the core muscles resulting in increased agility and muscle strength, you’ll get to grips with equipment such as fitness balls and kettle bells so you can feel confident walking into the gym, knowing that you can correctly use the equipment on offer.
Follow up sessions with your trainer will allow you to monitor your achievements and adapt your programme as required.
Talk to your trainer during your Gym Induction and they’ll be able to guide you through the various classes on offer and find one that perfectly suits your personality and fitness goals. Maybe your main goal is to find an exercise class that’s fun? Then dance classes such as Zumba or SH’BAM may be right up your street. Or if you really want to feel the burn but are limited on time, perhaps a HIIT class would be more suited to your overall fitness goal. Our expertly trained gym staff are on hand during your session to advise you on what’s available in your club.
Fitness extends beyond the gym floor. Which is why we equip you with nutritional advice too. Learn which foods are best to eat before the gym to fuel your workout and what you should be eating post-workout for optimal recovery. If you’re looking to lose weight, bulk up or maintain your current weight, we can also provide advice on doing this in a healthy manner.
