Swimming Pool

Swimming is great for your whole body. A low impact exercise that builds strength and tones, it’s also a great way to relax after a hard day or an intense work out. Our heated, indoor pools provide the perfect environment for experienced swimmers, casual users and those looking to increase their endurance in the pool. All our pools are open at the same time as our gyms. Check your local club page for more information on pool opening times. The whole family can take the plunge at your local Village Gym. All our clubs have dedicated times for kid’s swimming. 

Swimming Lessons

Learning to swim is an important life skill, which is why we offer both adult and kids swimming lessons at all Village Gyms.

Our large, heated indoor pools and team of expert swimming instructors provide a safe and friendly environment to learn to swim. Whether you’re an adult or a child looking to take the plunge for the first time, our dedicated team of Swimtime instructors offer small group swimming lessons and one on one lessons. If you choose a one on one lesson, your dedicated swimming instructor will accompany you into the water in order to provide support and guidance, as well as a little encouragement if needed.

Aqua Classes

Looking for a low impact group fitness class that’s fun for all levels and abilities? Our water based workouts including Aquafit and Aqua Aerobics are effective for toning while raising your heart rate into the cardio zone. Speak to your local club for more information on the types of pool based group fitness activities available.

Sauna, Steam Room & Whirlpool Spa

Enjoy access to some great spa facilities including saunas, steam rooms, Whirlpool spas and Jacuzzis - perfect for some well-deserved rest and relaxation. As well as soothing tired muscles after a hard session in the gym, using a sauna after exercising offers many additional benefits including increasing your metabolism to further boost your workout and improving your overall physical endurance. Not to mention, using a sauna or steam room on a regular basis will keep your skin looking younger, for longer. Bonus!

Spa Treatments

Soothe your aching muscles with a massage from one of our highly trained spa therapists at 18 Village Gym locations. Or simply treat yourself to an indulgent treatment after a hard week at work. Throughout the year, Village Gym members receive special spa discounts and offers so there’s no excuse not to indulge yourself every once in a while!
