Why don't the login details that I use on the website work on the App?
Your online account (for our website) and your App account are not the same and therefore may not work automatically.
How do I set my App login?
If you had a Mywellness account that you used in our clubs in the past, you can use those details.
What if I didn’t have a Mywellness account in the past?
When you next swipe in at one of our clubs, you will receive an e-mail overnight to create your app account and set your app password.
Can my invitation be sent to me from the club straight away when I’m in?
Yes, please ask a trainer to send you the invitation.
What if I can’t wait until I visit a club?
Please continue to book your classes through the Web until your next visit.
How can I download the Village Gym app?
The app is available as a free download in the Apple Store and in Google Play. Just search for ‘Village Gym’. The app is compatible with Android versions 5 and above, and iOS 11 or later.
What do I need to do?
To use the Village Gym app, you first need to create a mywellness account by following the ‘Account Creation’ invitation email that will have been automatically sent to you after you swiped into the Club for the first time following reopening.
What if I already have a Technogym Mywellness App account?
If you already have a mywellness account, you will have been linked up automatically (as long as you used the same email as the one you provided to Village Gym when when you joined). If so, you can download the app and start to use it immediately.
Simply log in to the Village Gym app with your existing mywellness email and password. All of your data and history from the mywellness app will be transferred into the Village Gym app, so don’t worry, you won't lose anything!
Do you need a Village online account to use the App?
No, you can use the app independently, without creating or using your online account. However, we recommend that you do set up an online account at Villagegym.co.uk so that you can manage your membership online and so that certain functionality will work more seamlessly for you.
If you have a Village online account are the login details the same?
You must use the same email address as the one you provided when you joined your Village Gym Club. However, the password can be different if you want it to be.
Can I connect my heart rate belt to the app?
This app is compatible with all Bluetooth Smart Heart Rate Belts including the myzone belt range that are available to purchase at a discount from your local Village Gym Club.
Other HR Monitors supported include Polar H6/H7/H10/OH1, Scosche Rhythm+, and Garmin Premium/HRM-Tri). You can connect your belt by visiting the section Other / HR Monitor or, within a workout, under the HR Monitor section.
Can I track my outdoor training?
Yes. There are two ways to track your outdoor training:
- Directly in the app using Outdoor activity tracking, available from the Home screen
- By connecting a third party app (Myzone, Garmin Connect, Strava, Polar, etc.) the data will be automatically synchronised at the end of the task.
How do I connect the Village Gym app to other fitness apps?
You can import the data from major fitness apps into the app. Simply go to the Profile and ‘Settings’ section of the Village Gym app and then go to “Connect apps and devices”.
Apps that can be connected are listed here. Click the ‘connect’ button for the app you want to import data from.
Can I monitor my lifestyle?
In the ‘Connect apps and devices’ section there is a section at the top called ‘Lifestyle Activity’.
You can choose which app to monitor your lifestyle; for iPhone Apple Health is available, on Android you can choose Google Fit or SHealth (if available on your handset)
