With the latest wave of COVID leaving you wondering if it's safe to get your sweat on, we've covered some of your main concerns here.
What happens if the club closes?
In the event that we’re forced to close due to Government guidelines, we’ll immediately freeze your membership, so you won’t pay for the time you’re missing out on.
Whilst your membership is on ice, you’ll have access to plenty of live and on demand workouts to keep you moving at home. Tackle the latest Technogym sessions, or killer cardio, core and combat classes from Les Mills, all accessible via the Village gym app.
Paid in advance? We’ll add on any time missed during closure, to the end of your membership, so you enjoy exactly what you paid for.
Will I still be able to join whilst the club is closed?
If your club closes due to restrictions, you'll be able to join when we reopen, however memberships will be limited for safety and to ensure social distancing. If you're keen to enjoy the live and on demand classes at home, we advise joining before membership numbers are restricted.
Will I need to book to use the pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool?
You'll not need to book ahead to use these facilities. We'll continue to operate these areas at safe capacity levels.
Are you increasing capacity on the gym floor and class studios?
Yes, we will be increasing capacity in these areas to make it easier for you to access the gym at busy times and book onto our most popular classes.
Can I use the showers?
Yes, our changing facilities will be available.
What safety measures will remain in place?
Rest assured, we’ll still be doing our bit to ensure your Club is safe for everyone, so you can get your workout in with peace of mind.
Top-grade cleaning, more often.
Our team will use powerful products, proven to kill viruses like COVID-19 in all areas, with particular attention being paid to bikes, weights, and all high-touch surfaces after every class.
We have invested in state-of-the-art, new cleaning equipment that uses Electrostatic Technology. This revolutionary cleaning system provides an even distribution of cleaning products and total disinfectant of every surface it coats.
Our gyms will be cleaned multiple times, on a daily basis. We are investing in significant additional cleaning hours. You will see our cleaners working in the gym and in the changing rooms.
Extra time is being allowed between classes so we can fully clean the studios ahead of the next class.
Safety screens will remain in place in between most pieces of kit.
Keeping it clean.
There's plenty of alcohol gel, antibacterial soap, blue roll + antibacterial spray around the club. Please clean your kit after use. Wipes are also available for use in the changing rooms, for example for use after using hair dryers and straighteners. Blue roll and antibacterial spray are available for cleaning hard surface areas such as cardio equipment.
Please help us stay safe by using contactless payments.
We encourage all members to bring their own towels. However, towels are still available for Black Card and Village+ members only and are now being washed at a much higher 70 degrees Celsius temperature.
Will I need to wear a face mask?
We encourage all members to continue to wear a face mask when moving through the hotel lobby, into the fitness club.
