Les Mills Core Classes in Walsall

The Village Gym Walsall Les Mills Core class is a 30 minute core training fitness class, set to a pumping playlist and led by an expert Village Gym instructor.

According to creators, Les Mills:

“This intensely challenging 30-minute core workout gets you results where it counts the most.”

Using your body weight, resistance tubing and weights, you'll improve your strength, sculpt a stronger body and improve muscle tone.

Why We Love the Les Mills Core Class

The Core class is one of the best ways to sculpt a strong core.

It's open to all, so no matter your age or fitness level, you'll get out of this class what you put in.

Members at Village Gym Walsall love our Les Mills Core class for the social boost and motivation they get from fellow members. It's fun, fast-paced, a great way to lift the butt and tone the stomach.

What Does The Core class involve?

During your 30-minute Les Mills Core class, your fitness instructors will lead you through various strength training exercises to firm and tone your core.

You'll work with a variety of resistance equipment and weight plates, as well as perform body weight exercises to really feel the burn. As an example...

Warm-up | exercises done lying on back to warm up the core.
Core strength |
long-lever movements on the back and hovers.
Standing strength |
standing exercises for the upper body, hips, legs and glutes.
Core strength |
exercises focussed on rotation, obliques and back.

Les Mills Core For Toning

The Les Mills Core class in Walsall will put you through your paces to tone the muscles in your abs, back and glutes.

By targetting specific muscles, you will strengthen these key areas, resulting in a tighter, more toned physique, more prominent muscle definition and better posture.

CXWORX is proven to be more effective than other traditional core training classes. So if you're ready to tone up your core, our Walsall Les Mills Core class, combined with your usual gym floor cardio training is the surefire way to get there!

Les Mills Core For Beginners

If you're about to take your first Core class, a few tips to get you started...

Arrive a little early and introduce yourself to the instructor. Let them know you're a Core beginner so that they can ensure they keep an eye on your technique.

Stand yourself near the front of the class so you have a good view of your instructor.

Don’t feel you have to use the weight plate in your first Les Mills Core class. Just get used to the exercises first.

If you find the resistance tube exercises too challenging, hold just one handle for less resistance.

How often should I do a Core class?

Since the Les Mills Core is only 30 minutes, we would recommend attending two or three times each week for maximum results.

If you're trying to lose weight whilst toning the core, add some cardio and strength training into your fitness routine to help burn fat. Otherwise, you may find that the core work you're putting in during your Core class doesn't show as well as you'd hoped.

After your Core class, it's best to avoid further resistance training to allow your body some recovery time. This is where a cardio session in the gym will work well.
