All About Les Mills BodyCombat

So how does BodyCombat work and how many calories can you expect to burn in a session?

Here's the lowdown...


BodyCombat is full of martial arts. You’ll learn Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai and Kung Fu all at once. But don’t be scared, no experience is necessary, our instructors will coach you through each movement. 

Although, we can tell you to expect powerful sets of hooks, jabs, uppercuts, kicks and high knees - you’ll be sweating! There’s also some functional training too, including lunges, squats and push ups.

We welcome everyone at BodyCombat because you can adjust the workout to suit you and our instructor will take you through all the moves. 

If you’re just starting, it’s ok to struggle. If you can only do the first three or four tracks, that’s fine by us. Remember, it’s your workout. 

It might take a few classes but you’ll be a combat warrior in no time!

BoxFit Classes

Our BoxFit class offers a great cardio workout, featuring boxing training techniques, including skipping, boxing drills, footwork and abdominal workouts. 

Local Virtual Fitness Classes

If you prefer to try a class during quieter times, enjoy a Virtual class!

Available with The TripRPMSprintBodyPumpBodyCombatBodyBalance, and Barre, our virtual class timetable is held in all clubs, running up to 20 classes per day.
