Our Reading gym is situated at Caversham Bridge on Richfield Avenue, right in the centre of Reading.

If you're walking, you can easily get to our gym from the town centre, Caversham, or Lower Caversham by crossing Caversham Bridge and following Richfield Avenue.

From Reading Station, it takes about 20 minutes to walk across the pedestrian bridge over the River Thames and then head north along Richfield Avenue.

For those using public transport, bus routes 17, 19, and 21 stop close to Richfield Avenue, and it's just a short walk to the gym. Reading Train Station is only a 10-minute bus ride or a 20-minute walk away. Cyclists will find that National Cycle Route 422 runs near the gym, and we have bike racks available on site.

If you're driving, the gym is easy to reach from the A329 and A4074. To park, just turn off Richfield Avenue into the Caversham Bridge car park, where we have reserved spaces for gym members.

Does Village Gym Reading have a swimming pool?

Yes, we have a heated indoor swimming pool in our Reading gym. Whether you're interested in joining an aqua class, enjoying the sauna or steam room, or simply lounging in the whirlpool, we have a variety of facilities for everyone to enjoy.  

 

Is there a shower at Village Gym Reading?

Yes, Village Gym has spacious changing facilities, including hot showers, hairdryers and spin dryers to shake out wet swimwear. Towels are also available to hire at the Leisure Club Reception. 

 

Is Village Gym Reading open 24/7?

No, our gym in Glasgow is not open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Village Gym Reading is open from 5am - 11pm during the week and at the weekends, our gym is open from 6am - 11pm. 

 

Does Village Gym Reading offer fitness classes?

Our gym in Reading offers its members over 100+ fitness classes per week. From the high intensity Les Mills workouts to low impact classes such as Pilates and Yoga. Plus our very own Village exclusive BURN, boxing and HIIT classes.
