Working out as a group stimulates our bodies production of oxytocin, AKA 'the love and bonding hormone'. This makes us feel part of a community, and gives us a sense of belonging, leading to happier thoughts.

Practicing mindfulness through yoga and meditation also results in higher serotonin levels (the happy hormone) giving us greater contentment and lifting low moods.
