Avoid trawling the internet for 'proven weight loss diet plans' or 'diets for weight loss in 7 days'. Losing weight through nutrition is a long term thing. You can't expect to eat lettuce for a week and drop three dress sizes. If you do... you'll pile it back on as soon as you start eating normally.

As a guide, in order to lose weight, your diet should always be based around a protein source (lean meat, red meat, fish etc.) and then carbs to bulk up the meal (vegetables, pasta, rice etc.) It should include some good fat sources (olive oil, coconut oil, fat on meat). A plate should be 40% carbs, 30% protein and 30% fats.

During your first session with one of our Personal Trainers, we'll spend some time getting to know how much weight you plan to lose, what gets you motivated and how fit you currently are.
